We love to make juice pops, but in my effort to declutter and get rid of as much plastic dishware/kitchen utensils as I could, I donated the popsicle molds to goodwill.

Do they make metal ones? Where would I look?

I suppose you could use a muffin tin and popsicle sticks, but I think that they would rust.
You could get a stoneware muffin tin.
Hmm...how about an icecube tray?

Wax paper cups and popcycle sticks. This is what we used when we were little. If you have a burn pile then you can burn them too and there is not so much waste.

I use the plastic ones because they are reuseable. I have had the same set for over three years and they will work for this summer too. :)

when i was little, my grandmother used paper dixie cups (the bathroom size...i think they were only about 2 oz) and popcicle sticks. she cut small pieces of cardboard to stick the sticks through to keep them centered in the cup. we thought those were much more cool than the ones my mom made in the plastic molds, lol.

i'm not sure they still make paper cups that size. it's been years since i bought any, lol.

That's what I did too.... I loved them. I have bought them in the last three years... it was for a soccer thing... I would look... I bet they are still out there.
