Conor loves our little garden. I grew up on 25 acres in a small town and had tons of gardens, but this little container garden is the best we can do for him right now. He loves to go out everyday and work in the garden. He has his own watering can and loves to water. He also checks the strawberries every day to see if there are new ones ready to eat. DH and I haven't even gotten one yet, because he steals them. LOL We have had a problem with afids (sp?), so we have been putting ladybugs out every evening. This is his favorite thing. He peeks under the leaves and says "ladybug, whre are you?" It's adorable.

I am actually very happy with our little garden. We had hoped to buy a house at this base and have a yard for the boys, but it is just too expensive here. I have been feeling guilty but we visit the local state park several times a week and we work in our garden every day.

one more. you can see the strawberries right in front. The really tall plants are tomatoes. The picture was taken sunday and today they are taller than the railing.
