H-E-L-P!! I need help with organizing the closet in our bedroom.

How do you keep a closet tidy? My side is fairly nice, but dh's side is awful. All his crap seems to have a sacred place in our closet. It's driving me nuts. And he lets me get rid of very little!!! He's getting better about declutter (he's come a long way).

I think I need to start with a shelving rack.

I hav found that neat shelves are the only way to go for boys. They have less variety in the closet, meaning they can easily find a way to make two shelves, and one half a hanging bar work. Alex and Dons closets are both set up this way, where Cyan's and mine both have a dresser too. They both have one basket for underwear and soxs... that works out well too. Again, less variety so less need to be picky about where you put stuff. Alex actually is able to help put everything that does not hang up away himself. I love that!

The boys and I will be off to Lowe's tomorrow morning to look for some shelves and whatnot.
