Today in Costco, Andrew, only 2, started yelling for Harry Potter. He'd spotted a HP coloring book which I was of course guilted into buying.

Edited to add.... I have yet to see a real HP movie in the theatres.. isn't that sad? The first one I was VERY pregnant with Faith and uncomfortable, then I had a newborn.. the second one we had no one to watch the kiddos. :wah: and Faith was still only BF'ing (wouldn't take a cup or bottle yet)

OK... so I'm a huge fan as well, but don't know what the Philosopher's Stone is? Are you saying there will be a special on ABC or something? Please let me know as ds and I are HUGE fans as well! He is counting down the days til POA is in theaters... and so am I :smirk:

I recently had a GORGEOUS quilt made for ds all in HP fabrics and coordinating fabrics (done by Opal from Owen& Ollie quilts).... and can I just say it is AMAZING! I'll post a pic for y'all to see it as soon as I can get a pic uploaded. I was't aware of any HP fans here on Amity's!

LOL!! sorry ~ i found all the info on a UK site... when the book came out here , they changed the title from Philospohers Stone to Sorcerrers stone.... SO! ~ the first flick will be on ABC this weekend ;)

POA is my favorite HP book and I'm nearly weak with antici............PATION! :bounce:

nicole, you and my sis would get along GREAT! she sends me little snippets about harry potter all the time. she just sent me that picture and another the other night. she just bought the unofficial guide to harry potter (or something like that). it basically teaches you how to read the books to find out what is going to happen later and whatnot. she said it's great!

can't wait! I am so glad that I will still be pregnant when the movie comes out in June so I can go!

I can't wait to see it also... may go see it in the theatre even. My 4yo LOVES the other 2 movies (as do I!) I just hate crowds... LOL We'll probally see it in July when the crowds have calmed down! ;)

And dh was sad that the kids looked so much older. I told him, "Well, they are in their THIRD year at Hogwarts"

He said that watching them grow up made him sad-LOL!

I was a couple weeks from giving birth when we went and saw the last movie. I managed a great seat (front row of the 2nd section--right next to the handicapped seating but there weren't any handicappers there) so I was able to stretch out.

Can't wait for POA to come out. Yay! :D
