I'm a combo Perfectionist/Hoarder, with a bit of deferral sprinkled here and there.
BUT - I'm doing the Spring Cleaning Challenge on this site too...the first week went well. lol

I'm a Hoarder/Perfectionist with a generous dose of Sentimentalist. By the way, it's a .com website -- http://www.organizedhome.com/declutter/clutterbuster.html
Where's the Spring Challenge?

Is there an option for "All of the above"??? I am SO SO SO bad about clutter. I just hired someone to organize my office so I can get a handle on it.
FWIW...I got the same page at .net and .com.

I am a deferer/sentimentalist. I'm working on it though. Sentimentally, I probably won't change - as a deferer, I can and will change - maybe. On secondthought, I 'll wait until tomorrow. LOL

Wow, great descriptions. I am a major deferrer with a touch of rebel in me (sad to say).

Oh my definitely perfectionist! As a matter of fact, the example for perfectionist given fits me to a T right now, LOL. I will NOT bother to straighten up that plastic container cabinet because I can't afford to get the nice, neat Tupperware Modulars that I want so badly that would fit so nicely in there, so why bother, LOL
That was too funny and too true.

Perfectionist/Deferrer... that is the way I am to a tee... I like to do things right, and if I don't have the time I need to make it just so, I end up putting it off for weeks. lol...
In the end it all looks really nice, but it takes FOREVER sometimes for it to get that way.

I'm a hoarder with a little bit of rebel thrown in. Alas, with the death of my mom and grandma I'm getting better at releasing things that they would have been upset if I parted with and that is helping my hoarding factor. Well, that and I can never find what I want when I need it so the "save for later" doesn't cut it when you have to buy it again anyhow.

I'm the Deferrer. 100% . I have no problem getting rid of things, and I don't need it to be perfect. I just always think I'll have more time tomorrow. Or, dh will watch the kids tomorrow, so I can do it. I've got to get over that.

Omgosh, there's a name for people like me? And there are other people like me? The whole perfectionist/deferrer personality is me to a tee!
I can't do ANYTHING until I have the time, energy, money, whatever, to do it all exactly right. It's almost dysfunctional though, I'm not sure it's a good way to be. For instance, my house is totally trashed right now, but I know in one more week, I go down to part time day shift work, and will have plenty of time to clean, enjoying the cleaning, and enjoy the cleaness! Meanwhile, everyone is wading through dirty clothing, kids need their fingernails clipped, really need to groc shop, etc, etc...but I don't want to do anything about it till next week. I thought I was nuts. Glad to know other people are nuts too. :)
