Dannielle, I know you explained it once, but I'm not sure I remember it all, so could you jot it down? I'll move it to the FAQ forum too :). Thanks folks!

hot water....vinegar (about 1/2 cup)....1-3 pkgs kool-aid (depending on intensity and how much stuff you're dyeing.
It is not permanent and will fade greatly if washed.
works on easter eggs too. :D

I just soak it? For how long?

if you want a solid color just soak it. If you want it to have a couple different colors mottled together then wet the silk and scrunch it up evenly and shove it into a smallish bowl (cereal size works) and pour (more like an even drizzle...like salad dressing..lol) one color over, drain excess, pour another color over.
You will be able to see the color leave the water and go into the silk. Kinda cool how that happens.
Doesn't take long at all.
Then rinse. :)
