I'm not trying to be mean or anything...but, what is with all these anti-spam, pop-up blcoker type ads here? It just seems a little unusual to see them here.

I can't even see the banners now that you mention it. Don't know how long it has been like that, since I don't pay attention to them anyway.

I do not have any thing like that and i see the banners..... Maybe you have a trojan on yer puter... I use crazybrowser and I do not get any pop ups

Banners are working for me again. That's weird. I haven't seen any weird ones.

I would say you need to run an AV check to see if you are infected. Those worms and viruses can cause all kinds of nasty things to come up.

I haven't seen any pop-up blocker ads here. Just the usual mostly-WAHM ads.

OMG! You mamas must be right! I suspected these ads to be phonies, but that is SO weird! I mean, how a virus or something can replace the WAHM ads at the top here (banners) with its own ads! (Like right now, it says "You could be a nonsmoker, tomorrow")

Yep, you've got taken over by something... BTW, if you're using Norton AV, they have admitted to DOING THAT. :mad: I think it's unethical and wrong, but that's me... they're stealing other people's ad space, kwim? :(

I use PC-Cillin, which is from www.trendmicro.com

There are also a lot of scumware type things and ezula that does the same thing, iirc. :(

Hope you are able to get rid of it soon!! I'm sure they're annoying.
