Weeds? Spot-spray with common full-strength household vinegar, on a sunny day. It's an organic weed killer that's safe for you and the environment.

We get these leafy weeds with prickles on them and when you step on them it's AGONY! And they are almost see-through so VERY difficult to remove. I pour vinegar straight on them. For other weeds, though, I'd probably use 1/3 vinegar to 2/3 water.

Beware, the vinegar turns everything it touches BROWN and kills it. SO don't get it on healthy grass. :)

I've used vinegar on my weeds and it works great. I agree with Stacy though - it will kill grass. Sometimes that's a good thing though. And uh Stacy, have you tried pouring straight vinegar down your ant hill? Just a thought. I do that around here. You'll just have to be careful because I'm not sure about your garden and the ant hill. Wouldn't want to kill off those seedlings!

I pour it full strength on the weeds in the driveway cracks too. :thumbsup: dead dead dead in a day or so.

Oh good one. I have some pricklies coming up in the driveway gravel that I can't yank out.

Oh oh science experiment! If you have limestone gravel the vinegar reacts and sizzles. Round up the kids for scince class in the driveway! :p
