I am on a "spend no extra money" for a month binge. I have too much already and need to really appreciate what I have. Plus what could come up in a month that I can't wait another 20 days for?

i "unverified" myself on paypal, thinking if I can't automatically transfer from my checking account then I can't easily buy stuff. I'm pretty sure I can live without this, but can I put a bank account on and not have it automatically transfer funds? That's my real downfall. I think "oh it is like a debit card. I am spending money I HAVE already." Well thing is, I'd like to save that money.

It says you can do 2000 bucks worth of business before you have to verify yourself. I have 76 bucks left of this? What is this? I WAS verified. Does it count past stuff against me?

It wouldn't even LET me unverify my account when I tried a few months back (we moved and closed our old acct and I wanted to remove it but not add a new one). :rolleyes: PayPal can be weird, huh? It must count all the transactions in your history.

Maybe you could open a new paypal acct (under dh's name?) and don't link to your bank acct, just to a cc? Would that help?

I totally kwym... I work online and sell on eBay and it's SO tempting to spend that $ as it comes in... I have to skip over all the FS posts or I mess up and spend. LOL When we're in a crunch I try to totally avoid AmityMama otherwise I get all depressed. Sad... :p

Anyway... don't really have a good answer, but there's my two cents. :)
