Since we moved from the east valley to the west valley, I haven't found a decent thrift store. So I was very surprised when I headed over to Savers (okay, so it's right next to Joann Fabric...not so thrifty location for me:) ) and found some great deals! I headed to the books because I was hoping to find some great children's illustrations to frame for Lauren's room. Instead a found an EC copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility for 1.99, and EC copy of Super Baby Food for 1.99, an EC copy of 1,2,3 Magic for 1.99, a fingerplay book for .99, a toddler activity book (awesome, btw) for .99, a Singer sewing book with terrific illustrations for 1.99, a Bible story book (that I talked myself out of buying at Borders for 14.99 yesterday) for .69, and a couple of other great books for .99!!! I also found 2 sizes of knitting needles and a set of dpns for .39 each set. I was so happy...our thrift stores here are just crummy so it was nice to find some things I really needed/wanted in great condition for a good price!
