every time i visit aw, a pm box prompt comes up telling me i have a pm. great, fine, i check-nothing. no new pm, just this silly prompt that drives me nuttier than i already am.

any tips on how to make the madness end?

this has been going on for a while, but i've ignored it (for what appears to have been TOO LONG, lol), but now i'm losing it every time it pops up because it's a lie, lmao.

i'm having the same problem today. it's stopped for now but not quite sure what i did to make it stop.

unless you're hitting the "back" button which puts you on a page when a valid pop up was there. Are you opening a new window when you log in?

You can also go into your settings and change your preferences to no pop up.

I'm having the same problem. It's been in the last 2 weeks and has happened a handfull of times. Nope no back button. The pop ups don't seem to be working consistantly for me these days either. I don't think I have anyone on ignore but I'll have to double check. At least I've been able to read everyones posts but :shrug: who knows what my ignore list looks like right now.

Lately that's been happening to me where I get the pop-up, go to my pm box and there's nothing new. I refresh and there actually is a new pm it just wasn't showing up. :confused: Have you tried refeshing your pm box?

seems to be working ok now though. strange.

i dunno how or why, but it seems to have stopped. hopefully for good. gotta tell ya, i'm glad it's not just happening to me, lol
