I just went to figure out how to pay my bills. I'm behind a bit on all of them...
So I pull out the gas bill... hmmm... $45 credit, but with the budget plan $77. So I'm looking, if I pay them the 77, then it's a 154 credit less usage...Hmmm....
So I call them and tell them I think it would make sense for us to go OFF the budget plan as we are using far less this year then last year. So she thinks something is wrong, starts looking at our file, we have cut our use of natural gas by 50%.
How? We installed a wood burning insert into our home. And it is our main source for heat now. We still use the furnace, but it only runs once or twice a day, instead of nearly constant.
Our insert is paid by 50% due to savings in natural gas. I'm estimating a budget amount of about $38 for next year :D
Now if I could figure out how to cut the power/water/sewage bill.
For now I don't have a gas bill to pay until May, due to credits :D YAY!!
Ideas??
