I kind of work from home still. I make baby afghans and other trinkets and sell them via consignment on and offline. Not really a biz type of thing now but maybe eventually. mainly I make the blankets as gifts for now.

I do however maintain a resource site for Doulas in the state of California. I list Doulas who want to volunteer so that mommies can contact them for their services. You can get a Doula for a very low cost or even free if they are training and need to get their hours in -- in exchange for filling out a review for them for certification. I also try and keep tabs on local events for doulas so that we stay in touch and strong.
http://www.mommie-care.com

I also have another site where I swap cards/banners/samples with other natural mommies to pass out at events and in orders.

Hi there!

I've been a WAHM for 18 months, and a WAH... umm... person... for many years. :)

------------------------
In addition to my regular freelance web design business, I now design for WAHMs (at much lower prices than my commercial business).

That site is: http://www.wahmedia.com

(edited to add: I am no longer taking orders for WAHM design, but I'm leaving the site functioning for now. :) )

-----------------------
We've also just launched a new site that we've been working on for almost 2 years now.

I make the safest custom beaded nursing necklaces that you will find! Bright, plastic beads of a large variety and developmentally appropriate for baby's growing brain!

I also make funky jewelry for mom, including colourful mothers' bracelets for a GREAT price (shop around and tell me if you don't agree!) and crayon necklaces. I am working on getting more of these up on the site but first I have to find my camera card that my daughter swiped and lost.

Let me know what you think!
