They don't charge shipping or sales tax. I bought the Original Sampler box which is 36 pieces for $14. They also have the Organic box, 30 pcs at $14. I usually pay about $0.99 per leather so I'm excited about getting it for $0.39!

Glad you found them at a good price. At our local hfs (whole foods) they are a steal at 3/$1.00 and organics are 2/$1.00. My kids love these! So yummy and healthy:thumbsup:

If I didn't think it would be a HUGE mess I'd just make them. I know they're very easy.

Trader Joe's brand is only $.29 each. I take one to school every day. Each of my kids has their own flavor that they prefer so we buy them 40 at a time.

Fruit Leather

1 c chopped fruit
2 tbs honey

Preheat oven to lowest possible temperature, 100-140 degrees F. In a blender or food processor, mix fruit and honey until smooth and pulpy, about 10 seconds. Spread parchment paper or lightly greased aluminum foil on a jelly roll pan (or just a flat pan with a lip). Spread fruit evenly over pan and bake for 3 hrs or until fruit is dry.

I'm sure you could substitute corn syrup for honey if you're vegan or allergic.

I have bought mine at the grocery store, but the online kitchen stores carry it as well. Just do a search for "parchment paper." Also, here's some precut on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3800523176&category=11886

You can also buy the sampler box at Costco. I just bought one on Monday, it was a little over $7.00.

Parchment paper can be bought at most grocery stores. I know Walmart also carries it.

You can find parchment paper in the cake decorating depts at stores like Walmart, AC Moore and Michaels.

TJ's is about 40 minutes from us as well. That is part of the reason I buy 40 of them at a time.:thumbsup:
