Sam is heavily immersed in all things having to do with the Iliad, the Trojan War, and the Odyssey. He stomps around pretending to be Agamemnon, goads me into building trojan horses for him to play with, etc.

Today we were grocery shopping, and as I was pushing the cart past the pharmacy items...

loud voice: "Mommy! MOMMY! Trojans! THAT BOX SAYS TROJANS! Mommy, there is a Trojan warrior helmet on the box! Please can we go look at it!"

My poor child thought the boxes of condoms were Trojan War toys. :p Looking back on it now, I can giggle a little about the stares we got from the pharmacy guy, but at the time I was a little ;peek: about it.
