I just found it, but it looks like it runs on the same basis as Make-a-Wish, but it is for women with breast cancer.
They accept donations of wedding dresses (diamonds, too!) and auction them off.
This was posted on a decluttering message board, and the poster got it from flylady.
I still have my wedding dress. I have the dream (that most of us probably do!), of my future daughter or daughter-in-law (or even great) walking down the aisle in my dress. I don't know yet if I can give it away. But it's a huge box in our very small house. My job share partner (she's about 35 with a 1-year-old and 4-year-old) just finished chemo and had a double mascetomy on Thursday. Between that and the timing of me being pointed to this organization, maybe it's a sign to finally let go of my dress. :(
