it is out of commission! i havent been able to get it to turn on in quite a while, even after putting in new batteries. so today i tried again and it came on. only problem is when i try to use the stylus on the screen, nothing happens. i pushed the reset button on the back (been so long since i got it to come on i wasnt afraid of losing info) and the screen still doesnt work. and i cant use the navigation buttons on the front either. anybody got any ideas?

Is the screen cracked at all? Or did it get dropped? Those things are so dang fragile! Dh's on his 2nd palm IIIxe and I'm on a palm IIIxe after having 2 palm IIIe's get broken and die - all over the past 12 months. Of course my toddlers dropping one onto the tile flloor was responsible for one of them.

no cracks and i havent used it in sooo long i dont think being dropped is its problem.

any idea where to take it to be looked at?

I'll ask dh when he wakes up. He used to work for Palm and might remember if there were issues.
