Do you guys like sprouted bread? I have just recently made the switch from refined flour bread to this. I find the whole wheat and 7 grain sprouted bread is better than the Ezekiel and Genesis type. I think I just had to get used to it, just like everything else?
Do you ladies sometimes eat stuff that you might not think is good, but you eat it anyway, because its healthy. Then, after a while, you like it just as much as you liked whatever you used to eat. For instance, I did the same thing with Rice Dream and milk. I used to love to drink milk, but not Rice Dream (plain anwyay). Now Rice Dream is better than a glass of cows milk. KWIM?

I can't say anything about the sprouted bread as I don't do grains for the most part anymore, however I do agree that I am getting to the point of prefering the healthier things I "force" myself to eat. Soymilk definitely tastes better to me now. I have also acquired a taste for tofu. I am also losing the taste for more animal products as time goes on as well. So, I think that you are right about having to get used to it. If it is healthy, continue to eat it and you will come to enjoy it or atleast tolerate it. You could also cut out grains completely(like I did:) ) LOL

Not Atkins...it is the anti-atkins:D It is the eating lifestyle in the book "Eat to Live" by Dr. Furhman. There is a website www.drfurhman.com . It is wonderful!!!!!! the basics...

you MUST eat per day atleast 1 pound of raw non starchy veggies, 1 pound of cooked non starchy veggies, atleast 4 pieces of fruit and atleast 1 cup of beans or tofu. You CAN in addition, eat NO MORE than 1 cup per day of a grain or starchy veggie(like winter squash, cooked carrots-raw are not starchy, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn), 1 tbsp ground flax seed, 1 oz nuts, 1 cup soymilk, 2 oz avocado, 3 oz fish per week, and no more than 2-3 egg whites per week. If you choosing you can also eat 3 oz chicken per week and 3 oz of red meat no more than 1 time per month. There can be no dairy, sugar, added oil, added salt or refined grains.

I haven't felt this good in YEARS!! I detoxed the first 3 days and have felt wonderful. I have also lost 12 lbs since the 1st of January and I am NEVER hungry. My husband started today, so we will see how it goes for him! Sorry I hijacked your post...but you did ask:).LOL
