i've been in denial about this for a few weeks now but it's not going away. i'm losing emails and i don't know what to do about it.

for the purpose of trouble shooting i will tell you some that i have lost:

some of my mals orders are in the shopping carts but i never get the confirmation email sent to my inbox. about 1/5 i would say.

paypal, same thing, again about 1/5.

i have had three people tell me they emailed through the contact email on my web site and i never got those.

of course there is no way to know for sure what all i have lost.

i am using web based mail, yahoo.

what can i do? what do you think is causing this?

tia :)

Danica,

FWIW, I have only been getting about 75% of my orders from Mal's as well...I don't know of anything else I haven't gotten but I'm not using web based email. I thought that since there is a disclaimer on her site that not 100% of the orders are guaranteed to be notified, that's about what the percentage was?

Good luck, hope you find the problem!

hey Danica-I asked dh (this is his biz..) he said it is a possibility that your acount was hijaked...so change your password right now and see if this stops it.

There is no way for him to check your account because he can't access Yahoo.

if you want to talk to him let me know

thanks linda, that's a great idea.

btw, this is why i tell people to use the shopping cart and NEVER email me their credit card info. i know all the old timers know this but to a new internet user sending an email seems just as safe as entering credit card information on a site.

IT'S NOT!!!

so anyway, off to change my yahoo password.
