DH is a member of several "geek" sites, and they have all poured over the fine print, and there really isn't a catch. Daomin registration is also SUPER cheap through them-- 5.99 I believe. I f you want to just use the space for pics and such, you don't even have to register a domain-- they assign one to you. If you want to use it just to host pics and such, I reccomend downloading a program like ftp commander to upload your pics. It is free and easy to use :)
If you need help setting things up, or have questions (or need some web design done ;) ) lmk!

Okay, this is the second time today I have seen this (well 3 times if I count your reply to my other post, Heather! LOL).

So, who's used it? I think Teddy might have mentioned that their cpanel is a little slow to load? Or was that something else? Nonetheless, I'm looking into it.

Thanks Heather!!!

i have used it, even on a few sites I have designed. Their control panel was a little slow for me one day, but it was 2 days after it was posted on a LOT of "geek" boards, so I imagine the traffic was insane. Oh and by slow I mean 30 secs MAYBE (I have a cable modem). Since then I haven't had any trouble, and hey, its free, so I figure what can it hurt to sign up for the space... it is nice to have extra webspace to use for whatever.. and who knows what I will want to do with it in three years :)

Well, I don't get it. I signed up and then waited for them to call to give me my PIN and it never happened. So then I emailed them telling them that I never got my pin because they kept emailing me reminding me to use it, but I never got it. So then they emailed me a link to do it all over again, so I did and once again they never called to give me my PIN so I emailed them to let them know and never heard another thing again. :(

I signed up last time this was posted, have been real happy with it. I bought a domain name too, so far it has been very easy to use. :)
