I thought the fabric shippers might be able to help me, lol.

My dh is getting into ebaying stuff, so I was teaching him how to use the FedEx acct, and he filled out a shipment on Friday night to be mailed today, printed the label, but never did the "ground end of day close" on it, so it won't print the manifest for it to take to drop it off at Fedex. Is there anyway to fix that??

I've tried canceling the shipment to make a new one so I can close it, but it says "error" that I can't do that because it's already transmitted to fedex. If I just leave it and do nothing about it and print a new one, will it be charged to my account?? The tracking number says it's in transit.

And now my next question, lol, I can't even figure out which number to call. It's supposed to be going ground, so should I call customer service for ground shipping, or should I call the FedEx Ship Manager Hotline since my problem is still in the Ship Manager?? I feel like an idiot, lol.

He still needs to ship it today, right? If he can't print the ground end of day close online today, he can take the package into fedex and fill out the "groundbill" form by hand and submit that in place of the ground end of day close.

If you do nothing, there will be a small charge of $1+-ish. If you call fedex, they will reverse that charge for you. I called 1-800-gofedex and they transferred me to the billing department, I think it was, and they took care of it for me.

Thanks! I'll just have dh take it and fill out the form. I searched their FAQ up and down and just couldn't believe there were not more morons like me who've had that question, lol.

Okay, I feel better now. I have nothing constructive to say, lol. Hope you get it resolved with a minimum of stress.

I love fedex ground. It's about half the cost of parcel post or UPS on things that weigh 5 pounds or more!

Well they could have cared less if he had the manifest, she just scanned the label and said she didn't it, lol. And I was freakin for nothing, lol.
