caused by a virus. Got my computer back today and they had to wipe everything out! :(

But at least i have it back and its working right! :)

where did you take it?

That seems a little strange to me. I of course don't know all viruses but I've never heard of one that deletes your floppy drive.

Did they tell you which virus it was?

I guess it wasn't a virus but a worm. We had one of these not too long ago also. A friend of ours repairs computers. Lucky for us it doesn't cost much.LOL
