I've been seeing an awful lot of negative posts about ebay lately. Which other auctions sites are there? Or are these problems common to all auctions in general?

It looks like the main problems are:

People (say that they) don't bother to read auction description closely and when they win they come up w/an excuse not to pay. What are the consequences for the seller in this case?

Payment made in wrong form.

Wrong amount paid, ie: paying less than specified amount for shipping.

So, if I list the lowest cost auctions, at 30 cents a listing, is it really all that bad???

What percentage of your auctions don't get completed?

Please try to restrain yourselves! ;)

TIA

The seller file s npb & fvf , after four( It think) fvf the buyer becomes naru'd( not a registered user)

."Payment made in wrong form. "
Return payment- request payment in right form as listed in your auction

Wrong amount paid, ie: paying less than specified amount for shipping.
Return payment - request payment in the right amount.

It really depends on what you are selling & what you price it at.

If is something that you have used- then the only thing that you are losing are the listing fee.
