I had just absolutely the worst day yesterday. It was awful. I really want to rant and rave and scream about it, but I thought that maybe instead of focusing on the bad things, maybe now would be a good time to count my blessings.

I am thankful that our family has been blessed with good health, for the most part.

I am thankful that we have been blessed with a house and a fenced yard for the kids and dogs to run in.

I am thankful that we have been blessed with an incredibly supportive and loving extended family.

I am thankful that we have been blessed with two steady jobs that provide enough income to cover our basic needs.

I am thankful that God granted a special prayer request I had a few months ago (at a time when several AW mamas were keeping me in their prayers - thank you!). The prayer wasn't answered in the way I wanted or expected, but it was answered and it helped me to understand that I need to put my trust in God and His plans.

I am thankful that today is a holiday so the office is closed and I can get work done without having to answer phones.

Oops, and having said that, one of my co-workers just came in so I have to run....
