FUN!
It was pure fun to watch! Jack Black was an excellent actor and fab. musician and so were the kids.

I enjoyed the film clips of bands and the silly story of a prep school.

Grab a kid (10 or older) and go see it.

I thought it was a super fun movie too. I've never seen Jack Black before and thought he did an excellent job...not your average Hollywood leading man is he? He has really good screen presence.

I had no idea who most of the music/bands they playing were though. My husband knew all of the bands and songs! I guess I listened to different music in my youth.

dh & I saw this - we both thought it was boring & not so funny - and dh is easily impressed usually, LOL

DD and DH really seemed to like it. I wasn't wowed by it, but then again I usually have a very hard time sitting through a movie, even in a theatre.

However, it was pretty funny when one of his students asked him why he didn't go on a diet and he replied "because I like to eat and what is wrong with that?!" LOL!!

:thumbsup: thanks for all these reviews, i think I wanna see this also, but Im not sure my oldest are old enough from what I have seen on the commercials. So I'll just have to see it just to have a good laugh myself I hope lol :)

Wow. Really? I haven't seen it but I have two friends who saw it and thought it was very dumb. So, I haven't bothered. Not that I think I would anyway.

Definitly a renter vs an in theater. But I enjoyed it... just last night.

My kids love this movie....I thought it was great, not all it was hyped up for, but I still enjoyed it.
