Hi...Up until recently I have only shipped to the US because I thought shipping internationally would be somewhat costly and a headache. Well about a week ago, I shipped to a Mama in Canada and it was very simple and not costly at all!! I wouldn't mind adding it to the places I ship to. But I would like to hear feedback first. If you do ship internationally, do you have any info you could share?

TIA Mamas!! (((((

I ship Internationally.

My only advice is that by law you *should* mark 'merchandise' on your custom's forms. Checking the 'gift' box is not only breaking the law, but is dishonest. A gift is like sending a sweater to your Mother. They bought it from you, it doesn't matter if they are giving it to someone else, it is not a gift.

I researched this one on the government sites and discussed it with our Post Master years ago.

Thus, I would also suggest making sure in your listing terms that this point is mentioned so that it is not a big surprise for the buyer.

That is my only word of wisdom. :D

Thank you! I appreciate your advice.

Another question...do you have a set rate or do you give the shipping amount once you know the poundage?

Thanks again!!!(((((

I am not one for lengthy terms, people are less likely to just skim them over if you keep them short. Mine are:

-Shipping will be: $_.__ (email for international)
-Payment must be in my hands w/i 14 days of auction closure.
-Insurance optional, I'm not responsible for lost/damaged packages.
-INTERNATIONAL BIDS: marked "merchandise" (no exceptions)
-MONEY ORDERS, PAYPAL (eChecks & Balance Transfers *PREFERRED*) NO PERSONAL CHECKS

People usually email me ahead of time to ask what postage will be. I once sent some McGraw Hill HB TExtbooks to China and shipping was $34. The guy was pleased though, and I guess he expected it to be heavy.

Best wishes to you! :D
