I thought we'd *try* some beans. I've disliked many of them in the past and hope that these will taste better (and NOT have an icky texture! :shudder:)
I got Great Northern Beans, Lentils and Navy Beans (a pound of each) today. How do I cook them (they are stone hard!) and what recipes do they work best in? (please share yours!)
Trying to cut down on meat expenses by substituting beans for some of our meals.

PS- I'm NOT vegan, but hope to phase out all but poultry for me..don't like much else anyways!
