i was just wondering if any of you knew how to eliminate a really musty smell in a carpet?it smells bad and i can't stand it any more.any help is appreciated.thanks.:)

I inherited a nearly new carpet that had been in a barn for quite a while. I mixed my own baking soda with tea tree oil and lavender and used it as a carpet freshener and it worked pretty well. Hopefully someone else will have a solution for you! If you can get it outside in the sun that should help some too.
