Is there a such thing as a place that specializes in vegan kids shoes or has links to them or something? Probably not; I'm not finding it if there is! I want some quality (and cute, too) shoes for my little wide-footed veggiedude.
This is my first post here, I haven't posted an intro yet. Hope this isn't rude, but don't hesitate to lmk if it is!
Thanks,
Dana

Welcome, mama! :)
I try to find shoes for ds at Goodwill, so I don't have to worry about the leather issue.
Found him a pair of leather velcro keds in VGC for $1.00. :)
Also, I have bought him (new) canvas keds and nikes.
I feel bad buying new due to sweat shops, so I try to shop around for used stuff that's in VGC.
Also found canvas baseball keds for ds for $.75 last year at a thrift store. Like new condition, too!!!
No, I don't know of any company that sells vegan kids shoes off the top of my head.

Unfortunately there is no place I have found that specialzes in vegan kids shoes. This has always been a hard one for our family. I did break down and buy my boys some red Converse All-Stars. Lucky for me they love them and have gottne a lot of use out of them. Also, I found some really great deals on some cute corduroy shoes at Babies R' Us that are velcro. My boys love those too.

Well, it doesn't look really easy but I am intrigued. What kind of material did you use? It seems like the pattern for a shoe like robeez, bobux, shooshoos, or something like that might be a lot simpler. Maybe I could somehow take one of these shoes apart make a patter with it? Again, I don't know what kind of fabric would be best to use instead of leather.
Thanks!
