I just finished reading the 6th one (Chapter House Dune) and I don't feel the story really resolved any of my questions.

So has anyone read them and would like to talk about them?

The thing about Dune #6 is that Frank Herbert died in the middle of writing it, so his son and wife finished it using his notes. It does seem rather unfinished.

That said, the prequel books are very good, IMO and really help fill in a lot of questions that I always had about the prehistory of the era.
