Today was one of those days where I needed to keep reminding myself of the good things. Here is my list:

We have a steam vac so I can steam vac the carpets.
The kids have free access to a back yard with a variety of different play options.
My corn is plump and ready.
We have a washer and drier again so I don't have to go to the laundrymat.
We have both bathrooms in working order again.
We have a copier and I was able to get the copies that fil needed.
When the ceiling fan came off the ceiling it was held up by one wire and fil had the clarity to get wire cutters and cut it off.
We do have one phone that works most of the time.
Dh is on his way home and will hopefully be home 30 mins earlier than I expected.
My mom wanted to hang out with the kids and I today.
The wet spots in the dinning room right now are ice water.
I actually made a well balanced dinner tonight.
A gf asked me if I wanted to go see her dh's band play tonight.
DD has stoped yelling she hates me every chance she gets.
Tami sent me some of my fav. soap today. :)
I weeded out 6 bags of kids clothing today.
I got to color in a coloring book today... without help for 10 mins.
My sister needed a quick fix on a dress that broke at a wedding she was attending 4 blocks away and I was able to get the stuff to fix it in the time it took for her to get to my house.
I got to watch a movie for me last night.

I like that I am able to balance the good with the bad and the ugly.
