The kids where taking a bath and knocked a candle in the tub.
They didn't say anything ...I found it when I went to drain the tub.
Now there is a layer of wax in the bottom of the tub. Its all mushy so when I try to wipe it up ... it smears worse.

Any ideas on how I can get it out?

I thought maybe if I stuck a rag in the drain,I could boil water and melt the wax... The water would go through the rag and the wax would stick on top ........ ???? Think that would work ...I don't want to make it worse lol

Thanks

Try soaking it in washing soda. My dh has this habit of putting lit candles in various places with no holders or saucers or anything, so wax drips all over. I read that washing soda eats away wax, so I tried it, and it got rid of every bit of it!

The only thing I know of for getting rid of wax is ICE or ICE water. Maybe you could try that and scrape it off once it hardens? Good luck :D
