I also love _best in show_...

Dh went to see _a mighty wind_, but I couldn't go. :(

Are you and/or DH in the performing arts? I guess this movie only makes sense to those who have been on stage, LOL!

Ed. to add, they kind of go in order for me, from best to least-best:guffman, best, wind.

the first time saw the movie was with my brother and his best friend. Both were in community theater at the time. They about peed themselves laughing, which made it even more humorous to me!

I think dh would agree with your order...Although we have watched _best_ more often, as we've only just purchased _guffman_.

HAven't seen a mighty wind yet, but the other two are hilarious! Even Dh'd parents liked best in show! Can't wait to see a mighty wind :)

If you liked that one, go rent "Best in Show" - same actors, but about a dog show. A little more "gay humor" compared to guffman, but very funny.

How is guffman as far as being able to watch it w/kiddos around. Not too worried about the 1yo but the 31/2yo picks up alot so how's the language? TIA

My husband and I (who met in grad school for theater) just lose our minds every time we watch Guffman! I'm also a huge fan of Spinal Tap, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind, but Guffman just hits home.
