Does it come with a guitar starp? is that something that is neccessary?

It does, you would probably need one, and you can get one for super cheap if it didn't have one.

Cool thanks. My MIL got it for my oldest DS for his bday. I wanted to know if I need to get anything else to go with it.
My Dad got him the Game and MIL got the guitar for it!
