Sorry girls. I just felt like the replies were in direct reply to my take of an 'other side'. And, Emily, I wouldn't think it not good if she had covered it up. it's just the big ole' hoopla around it. sigh...
I shouldn't have posted. I'm sorry. It's been a very long and emotionally draining couple of days. (ok, longer than that, but Friday - today have been very intense and I am single parenting 5 kids now! lol)
ETA: it wasn't the different view, it was the inferring that people choose to believe whatever - and actually calling people stupid if they would have done something different. That said... I've always considered you guys friends. And I guess that is why I took it personally (and shouldn't have).

I wasn't even replying directly at you which is why it didn't make sense. I should run a disclaimer, I am tired, uh, not wearing my glasses, and my husband has worked a 70 hour week.... so I am running on fumes. Nothing is making sense anymore.

Well, I hope it's not all a big lie, but it's very unlikely that she was 7 1/2 months pregnant in those photos, considering how huge she got with her other kids. Just very unlikely. And combined with the teenager off school for almost a year with mono, just fishy. None of my business, and I can understand them trying to clean it all up like it never happened. But if it was a faked pregnancy, I think that's pretty damn weird, and very old-fashioned.

I think it would be weird to have your water leaking and decide to fly home to AK. However, we all very much advocate for not going to the hospital right away when water breaks, if there is no active labor, I don't see this as too much different (except that I didn't have any desire to fly 8 hours away from home when I was pg!) Did she fly first class or coach? If she was in first class, i can see it. If she was in coach--that is one strong woman. I was uncomfortable in coach at 27 weeks pg. I can't imagine that at 36. However, I'm assuming she was in first.
anyway, I can almost buy the theory, but then I feel bad about even listening to it. Mostly because I still remember the jokes at Chelsea Clinton's expense. If this girl just had a few unflattering pictures taken, I feel awful for the speculation.
Interesting to note, too, is the fact that this speculation can be found from at least 4 months ago.
