Metformin helped my supply in it's own way, the dom helped me in a big way. I really feel that if I had stopped the met my supply would have taken a hit. It helps to control the hormones and regulate things. I stayed on it. I bet you could email Dr. Jack Newman or read on his site for info.
I needed both of them to have a decent milk supply.
