I figured 5:30ish works for people to show up so that we can get checked in. Sorry to start this thread and then abandon it again!

any idea if we'll have pots and pans supplied by the hotel to heat beans and cook meat and all that?

not sure if I'll bring swimsuits or not - none of mine can swim, so it's a bit stressful to try to coordinate

and.. rubber bands? I'll bring the kids bag of little elastics, plus some for me.. but that's really got me curious.

need to look and see what else we need... has anyone said chips yet? I heard margaritas (do we need a blender? ice?) and wine.. what all do we still need?

and berries... I love berries. Leila's a pretty major raspberry addict these days too

No one needs to bring cooking supplies. they have a full, stocked kitchen. They will have tableware for four or six, so we'll need that, but no one needs to bring a pot or bottle opener, etc.

If someone has olive oil and balsamic vinegar, I'd be appreciated. Otherwise I'll buy some over there.

I have the address and people's phone numbers.

I'm leaving on a Jet Plane . . . .

(potential home invasion robbers: please note, my very strong dh is staying here with the kiddos - I'm the only one leaving )

I have the olive oil, EVOO so it's strong flavored, will also bring safflower for cooking. Don't have any balsamic though.

I just got home from Vancouver BC or I'd be jumping all over this opportunity! My poor family got carted all over BC, but missing me because I was back and forth at a convention, then we got home and I've been doing nothing but birth related meetings and events since I've been home. My dh has been super supportive but I worry he'd break if I told him I was skipping town tonight :P
