Oooh, drool! #5 is just beautiful. The other florals are sort of old ladyish, but that one is just gorgeous!

Yup, that's me too. Our corelle is solid sand/beige...round plates.

We've had it maybe 9mos and we've had a few broken pieces (ceramic tile and kids emptying the dishwasher lol) but nothing like we used to have. I think we've lost a bowl, a mug, and there's a chipped plate. But it used to be that we didn't go 3 days without something breaking.

I adore #1! Simple, gorgeous and I think it would be easy to live with for a long time. Really busy, colorful patterns might get old after a while.

I like #1 out of all the options. I'll also agree with the PPer who said that the square plates are really big. My sister has the square corelle plates and I think they're ackward to use, but that's just me. In any case, I *heart* corelle. I have this set, and love it: Corelle
