I know I would never purchase H&BA or food at a garage sale but I think giving to food banks or homeless shelters would be AWESOME!! I'd SO do it for that purpose - keep what we need then have fun bringing in tons of "gifts" to the shelters and pantries for free! That would bring joy to my heart and others - I think keeping 100 bottles of shampoo for a family of 4 is kind of over the top. Can you imagine a sudden fire in your home and losing all of that?

I could see keeping stockpiles that large for motivation....hoarding, building, all of that. Then ultimately rotating out and donating it or sharing with family.

I'm just really fascinated by this. I'd love to do a dramatic, challenging grocery budget like this.
