Week 17 already!

This week we are on week 17. We took a 2-3 weeks break after week 9, too. We will be half way done with our school year before Thanksgiving!!! I am so excited about it.

I have never felt this on track. I'm not doing everything in our curriculum, but I feel ok about it. The kids are getting a LOT out of what we are doing, and that is what matters. I was afraid I would feel tied to the curriculum (like I did with Sonlight and WP), but I don't. Austin and Nate are getting better at planning their week on their own, Adam and Lauren are using workboxes and it's helping us all.

Last year I always felt like I was playing catch up - and that we were skipping so much and glossing over things. This year I feel like we are covering the big stuff - adding in more interesting things (they all love mapwork) - and having a much better time as a family.

ahhhh. Tapestry is a good choice for our family, for sure.

I was wondering how it was going with TOG. Glad to hear you are happy with it.

We are on week 11 and this has been the best year for us (ever). Finally things and attitudes are coming together. My favorite curriculum this year so far is Beautiful Feet Geography. I like that I can plan it on my schedule.

How wonderful!!

We haven't even started yet, and I am already worrying about how things are going to work out, curriculum-wise.
