These planning posts are always fun.
Next year I'll be doing Ambleside Online year 1 with Jonah and Ruthie listening in. They'll continue with Horizons 1 and Explode the Code- Jonah is in book 6 now and Ruthie's in book 2. She's not as ambitious as he is, though, and doesn't feel the workbook love like he does so I don't anticipate that she'll go through them with the speed that Jonah does.
Ambleside online includes music, Bible, poetry and art. At some point I'll probably get Sonlight's science K, too. I think that's all we'll be doing.

We're still in the middle of our year; we switch "grades" in January which is 4 months late for my oldest and 8 months early for my youngest. I thought I'd answer anyway since I've been in the midst of planning, and I'm changing some things around. We will take a break from focused learning in August, and resume grade 2 in September.
Reading: We're using The Ordinary Parent's Guide to Teaching Reading. We pretty much delay academics until age 7, so my youngest is just now learning to read, whereas my 8YO is pretty much at grade level but has become a guesser (originally taught using whole word methods) so I decided he could use the phonics as well. We also use sight word rings and word family flip books, and lots of easy readers and the classic early reading books such as Frog and Toad.
Humanities: according to our Enki books we should be working with sages (saints and heroes for the Waldorf users) as our main story curriculum, while immersing ourselves in the culture of each sage. The boys don't like what we've done so far, so I've ditched it for now. We're just reading to the boys a lot; Little House books, the Eragon series, books by Isabel Wyatt, Greek mythology, etc. In January we'll start with creation myths from around the world (we usually segue into each grade slowly using the Enki/Waldorf main lesson ideas).
Language Arts: I'm pulling more and more from the Christopherus Living Language book.
History: This gets tied in with the story curriculum, so exploring creation myths we'll also immerse ourselves in each culture for a couple of months and explore the history of each culture. We'll probably just use library books unless we find a top notch secular history program.
Math: We use Enki stories and methods, lots of manipulatives, and Kumon workbooks. I'm not sure what we'll use for grade 3.
Science: We tend to unschool science. The reality is that in the younger grades the boys get so much science just by observing their world and asking questions. We do read nature stories and we try to draw some of what we see on hikes and nature walks. We have a garden as well, which is a big science experiment in itself.
Music: Both boys are learning ukulele. We may or may not take up recorder again; they're just not that into it. We listen to music a lot, play with instruments, and sing all the time. Depending on other things, DS#1 may start piano this fall.
Arts and crafts: I'm just about to teach the boys to knit; we've read an Enki knitting story and have started making our needles. The boys do all kinds of art; painting (various types), drawing (pencil and crayon), modeling, oil pastels, and a lot of paper crafting. We'll be working more from Learning About the World Through Modeling. For multicultural arts and crafts I really like Art From Many Hands.
Foreign Language: We have Sonrisas Spanish School, but haven't really gotten into it yet. I'll probably get going with it again in September, if the boys are interested.
Handwriting: They just write as they feel inspired, and write sentences and verses to go with their pictures. I'll probably focus more composition in grade 3.
We're really eclectic learners; we use holistic methods with an integrated curriculum approach, we have a strong unschooling/child-led component, and we occasionally turn to classical education to fill in the gaps.

Peace,
Kimberly...walking my path; loving, living and learning with an amazing man and two incredible boys.
Our school year goes from July 1 to June 30th, year round, so we're just getting started (a little early at the insistance of my oldest, who got bored with being home without a "plan") with our 2007-2008 school year.
We're using:
Winterpromise Animal Worlds with older kids pack and without the K-1st activities
First Language Lessons
Math U See (and tons of math-based story books, math games, and worksheets)
Those are already moving along.
In September, we will start Noeo Bio 1 as a co-op with friends. In January, we'll add Story of the World 1 with activities. We've read SOTW 1 before, but are doing it again with the coordinating projects and some friends to share the learning.
We do Mandarin through our Chinese school weekly, the kids swim weekly through YMCA for PE as well as playing some sort of seasonal sport or having homeschool PE days. Em will do Pianimals this year for piano lessons and we'll do music appreciate via cd's.
That's it for the year, I guess, except for the myriad of library books we explore and the countless field trips and museum jaunts we'll take.
Here is what I have set so far, however I still need to purchase some of our Winterpromise

Math~MUS Delta 3x a week and Mammoth Math 2x a week
Language~Winterpromise LA5 (spelling, writing, and reading) also taking a creative writing class through our parent partnership program 1x week

Joshua is a "first and a half grader" meaning he finished K in Dec. Most of what we will be doing is advanced first grade stuff. I expect him to fly through the math as part of it is a repeat.
Math: Modern Curriculum Press Math A/Singapore 1B
Science: WinterPromise Animals and Their Worlds (also includes Bible, Literature, Arts and Crafts). We do have the combined preK-2nd and up package, but will do some of the Animal Art, no Alphabet Art.
Social Studies: My casual addition to the AW habitat study, to include map/globe study and stories from around the world, as well as Wee Sing around the world tape.
Reading/Language Arts: WinterPromise LA1
Electives (as desired): God Made Music 1, I Can Do All Things Art, Chess: A Knight's First Moves (from WP)

We're doing Trisms Explorers and Inventors in a co-op. We're just using it as a guideline, really. The whole thing is more middle school level, but it's a fun way to overview history if we do a light version. Also co-oping La Clase Divertida and an art thing (art's not really my area, and I honestly can't remember the name).
Singapore math for the oldest and maybe the middle one IFF he seems ready for workbooks. He just doesn't sit still well. Or read. But he's pretty advanced with the math, and I'm not sure how to place him. He's far more interested in discussing concepts and working things out in his head, and it's obviously working so far. Not sure I'll change that. Unschooling math really seems to work for him
Probably LLATL for the boys. Patrick seems ok with what we've tried so far - a miracle, to be sure. And Dylan's a real self-starter (guess he takes after Daddy), so he'll do whatever I put in front of him before I'm even done cooking breakfast.
Rowan will mostly just be a kid. I'd like her to reliably be able to count past 100, add numbers larger than 5, and know all her letters by the end of next year. I don't really think that will require much beyond just reading, cooking, playing games, and talking together. If she decides she wants to read, we'll learn that, too.
As far as science, we're co-oping R.E.A.L. Life Science with the neighbor friends. Or maybe physical science. I have both, and I just haven't decided which to do.
Rowan and Patrick want to take homeschool gymnastics (it's a homeschool class because it's in the early afternoon and it's co-ed). Might sign D up for homeschool P.E. at the Y, or I might just drag him out for walks and jogs.
Let's see.. so far I have planned:
Saxon for math
Easy Grammar 56
Alpha Omega Lifepac 5 for science (we didn't get very far last year)
Reading: I have some books and teacher guides from Scholastic to work on comprehension which we'll alternate with other books of her chosing.
Social Studies: Some books from Scholastic (that $1 sale last month was helpful)
Music: piano lessons and band at the public school
My dd2 is asking to go back to public school. Her reasons are purely social. However I feel she has too much to work on before she can go back (we pulled her out to help her catch up, so we're planning on her going back eventually - we think LOL). I made a deal with her: If she works hard this summer and she's where we feel she needs to be, she can go back. However if she doesn't work or isn't where we want her, she'll be home at least another year.

I think we're going to start next week... we've been on "break" since mid-May, and we're all getting antsy and on each other's nerves.
Justin is 6 1/2, so he's "first grade" I guess.
-Finishing 100 Easy Lessons and then moving onto Beyond the Code.
-Miquon Math, I have the first two workbooks and the Cuisenaire Rods.
-SOTW Volume 1
Then aside from that, we'll do some unit studies (starting with dinosaurs, and then doing Germany). We'll also go to the Homeschool Days at the science museum about 90 miles north of us. We'll do PE through our homeschool group in the fall, and I think swimming lessons next month.
Rebecca is 4 and we'll be doing FIAR (Justin can do that too), and working on learning letters and numbers.
Plus I still have to look through the Rainbow Resource catalog and see what else I want!! This time of year is so exciting!
