Ooooh I think these are more fun than BOB books

I just got the level 1 book set of this series at a local warehouse sale and I love them. They have a great progression for reading skills, great little story plots and illustrations, reward stickers and sturdy carrying case design. I just went to their website (wanted to see what else is available, planning on getting the other sets as we need them) and found free downloadable work sheets to go with the series.

Check it out!

My mom has given ERik two sets of them, she got them from Scholastic. They are fun. I can't compare to Bob books, as we've never used them. I am still really partial to Scholastic Phonics readers, because that is what erik first used. But these were great when he first started reading.

Oh yes-I highly suggest these sets as well. My DS never really liked the BOB bks and I happen to find a set of these at Goodwill for $1. He loved them and WANTED to read them so that's incentive there LOL We have about 4 sets now and he likes them alot.
I like how they build upon the previous sentences too.

Thanks for the suggestion...this is perfect timing. I was about to start ordering some things with our charter school funds
