My stuff is arriving this week!

Today I got our spelling program. I think it is going to work well for us.

Tomorrow my Sonlight Core 3 and my Kidspiration software is scheduled to be delivered.

Wednesday Sonlight PreK is scheduled to be delivered.

I can't wait to see it all! Now I need to clean the livingroom and make room for all the educational stuff! I want it all kept together so that the movers put it all in ONE place, not mixed in 8 different boxes from different rooms.

Hooray! So did you test out the spelling program yet? It has worked so great for us this year. I think my Bryce may actually be learning how to spell LOL.

I watched the DVD that came with it yesterday. I need to finish watching it, though.

I got the kids a new CD/cassette player for our new house, but we won't be there for another 3 weeks or so. I am tempted to just get it out now and get him started, though. Our Sonlight Core 3 comes today... and I am seriously considering keeping out a couple of weeks worth of 'school' and starting it asap and just using it during the move. But then part of me thinks I should just not worry about it yet and start after dh leaves for Korea, rather than trying ot start something else new, move, and dh leave. It might be easier to just get a routine started once we are in OH and moved in and settled.

Today my Core 3 and Kidspiration software came! YIPPEE!!!! I already got my Instructor's Guides in the binder. DH and I went through all the books this evening. He was bummed that he isn't going to be here to read many of the read alouds to the kids... he would love them. They are right up his alley. sniff sniff We are working on him recording a few of the books for the kids to listen to while he is in Korea.

Tomorrow I should get the PreK. Adam and Lauren are excited about that.

Oh, and Nathan was pretty excited about getting the books "Nate the Great" today. Even though it wasn't in our Core, I ordered it for him. He has been reading it on and off all day.
