Smile Leaping lemurs! Look where we are going this week! (no, not to see the Kratt brothers

http://www.duke.edu/web/primate

My kids are super excited!

They really love the show Zoboomafoo and we are going to see lots of lemurs this week!

They are getting the Madagascar program.
Which is great for them, because since watching that show and learning about lemurs, they have circled Madagascar as a 'must visit' place on all our world maps.

Looks like fun!

Although I am sure we would have had a grand time if we were getting to see the Kratt Brothers.

WOW! That looks like fun! We just signed up for Missouri's Stream Team. Devin and I can't wait to go do the training on June 4th -

http://www.mostreamteam.org/

My Biology teacher recommended we do this with Devin. He's my neighbor, and lives next to a creek that Devin is always playing at and insisted we check this out. I'm really glad he did. Also, he's offered to do some science experiments with Devin this summer. For being a public school teacher (as well as teaching my college Bio) he's pretty cool about the whole hs'ing issue. In fact, he was pretty determined that boys on the whole don't do well in ps until they mature, and felt that Devin was doing better at home.

That was just an added side note.....
