Talking We're going to hs next year.

I am so excited, but I'm scared to death too. My ds will be 4 next month. He's in a great montessori school so I have mixed emotions about taking him out, but I'm looking forward to being home with him. When I went to pick him up the other day, they were in a spanish class, I'm not going to be able to teach him spanish. I'm afraid he is going to miss it, but I hope he will enjoy learning at home. We are going to use Enki (as soon as my dh finds a job ).

Why not? If it's something that he is interested in, you could always learn together. They are probably just learning basic words at this age, and I'd be willing to bet that you could pick up a Spanish/English picture dictionary and do the same thing at home with him.

Taking the step to homeschool can be scary, but the possibilities are truly endless. I wish you the best in your journey!

There are lots of Spanish teaching tools. Right now, we are using Muzzy with our three-year-old. There are inexpensive CD's/tapes, books, videos. Try a google search and see what you find.

Awesome! Don't be scared. There are so many benefits to homeschooling I think they outweigh the negatives. But every situation has its challenges.

I love the Enki approach and materials. You are going to have fun together!
