Pre-K-ish Fun with ONE!

We are sort of unofficially studying the idea of ONE.
And we have a recipe that goes along with it to share.

Recipe of ONE

One Mashed Banana
One Cup Milk (we use soy, but you can use any)
One tsp. Baking Powder
One Cup Flour (we use whole spelt, but any will do)

Mix wet (banana and milk). Mix dry. Pour wet into dry, stir. Cook.
Eat. Makes enough for two serious pancake eating kids and one or two for the dog.
Since there are no eggs, the batter is way safe to eat.
These are good with honey or maple syrup and can be a pretty healthy snack/lunch.
It's also been a memory builder for us. Eli can remember the whole recipe without reminders and is working on making them on his own (except for cooking).
Oh, and when we can only find the 1/2 cup measuring cup (which is often), it introduces fractions too.

Jennifer.
