Whole Lot of Climbing Going On

Who cares about walking? Our girl is much more interested in traveling vertically around the house! Our house is small, and it's becoming quite the challenge to avoid creating unintentional jungle-gyms with the furniture.

I rearranged our tv stand area to make it harder for Josie to grab the cords in back... but as you can see, my first arrangement only succeeded in giving her a new place to climb!

She even made it up onto our bed this morning by way of the blanket chest at the foot of the bed. She's only weeks away from being able to get up on the couches unassisted, I fear. We're working on teaching her how to descend "feet first" -- but I'm nervous. This child has zero sense of caution.

She's adorable! That climbing stage can be so fun and also frustrating, can't it?
