We're here.
Jack is 8 months tomorrow. He's quite adept at crawling now, keeping me (ack! Unplugged the carbon monoxide detector and had to go barricade that!) on my toes. He loves the darn fireplace - which is marble - and has conked his head more than his fair share of times. He pulls up on everything, just to his knees sort of standing up and kneeling - but he can stand, if he tries. For a solid month I wanted to wrap him in bubble wrap (or maybe just a helmet) because it seemed like he would never figure out that balance thing.
He's getting better at easing back down, but sometimes if he's tired or being lazy he'll plop over still.
Let's see - he says mamamamama and dadadadadada - sometimes noises that sound like 'Hi" or "Kiss" but nothing defined. It's mostly Dadadada.
Eating, he's not into at all, despite having 8 teeth and working on molars. He'll have a bit of banana or a few grains of rice, a couple cheerios, but nothing out of a jar (he freaks). He doesn't eat table food every day yet, though. He's too busy with other stuff.
Nursing is still going strong, around the clock. He seems to have completely abandoned the sleeping through the night we were so lucky to have when he was small.

I suspect it's all the teeth that started waking him up, and now he's just in a bad habit of nightwaking.
He's wearing 12-18s, and some 18-24s. Seems to have virtually skipped 6-12s. His favorite toy is his "buddy" (which is a small-sized sleeping baby in an Anne Geddes bear "costume" - all one piece) and he holds it in his sleep which is the sweetest thing ever.
That's our world
