Sorry to be so absent...

Sorry I have been absent for the last week. I was at the sew expo and now am running a dying blanks co-op. Yikes! Don is now staying up at the academy a few times a week and so I am very limited on time.

Plus, gardening season has offically started! I have pulled all the leaves off of the garden and am starting to weed out the dead things and think about putting in seeds. At least peas. I have lettuce and cilantro already grown out there from my winter planting and we have been snacking on that a bit. I am trying not to overdo it, but with Don gone that is getting harder and harder to achomplish. Esp with the days getting warmer. I am taking vitamins when I remember and showering when I can and enjoying my kids... even the one who keeps me up all night long and thinks I am his new pacifier. lol!

Logan is 6 wks old! Can you believe it! I almost can't except that this dead weight of sleeping baby in my lap is getting heavier and heavier. He has slowed down quite a bit. 13# 11oz yesterday. lol... he is still big, but not HUGE like he was. He is still in 3-6 mos clothes, but that won't last too much longer. He looks like he is about 4 months right now... and if he held his head up, he would act like it too. He smiles, coos, "talks" and does the conversation thing like a champ already.

My 6 wk apt came and went great. I got a pap (oh the joys) and she said that I healed perfectly and everything looks good. She is a little concerned that I only have 8 lbs to go on my prepregnancy weight because she is worried that with all of this activity I am doing my milk supply will decrease. She warns against loosing more, but with garden season coming up and stress, I doubt I will keep this last few lbs on for long. So I am drinking water, taking my lethicin and eating as much as I can hold. lol! THe only other thing that made her worried was that I was slightly anemic. Those of you who know me know that this has been a severe issue in the past, and so she warned me to get my iron up by whatever means possible. So meat is on the menu this week. Lots of it, every night. Beef stew, last night provalone sandwiches with hambuger and aujus, tomorrow stroganaugh with steak strips and every night a spinich salad.

Anyhow... I am babbling now.. something my tired brain is good at right now, but I just wanted to update and say I love everyone and I am going to be checking more often this week.

Jody? Have I seen a pic of your Ragen since forever ago? Can I get a pic of her please?

Belinda, that pic of Avi is SO cute! The little rolls and the sweet smile... I just love it!

Ahhh...you've been absent? I hadn't noticed. ;0) I say that only because I've barely been here! I haven't managed to get onto Amity's for more than 5 minutes in forever. It's a rare occasion that Reagan lets me lay her down or put her in the sling. I think she is teething, actually. I can see white through her bottom gums now, no longer just bumps, and she keeps rubbing her face on my shoulder and the bed...

My house has exploded...*sigh*

I need to get pictures loaded onto the computer. She is growing! She is 11 and a half pounds and smiley and cooing. I think her eyes are going brown or hazel--like her sister and oldest brother (Liam's are blue).

I just started teaching another online class this week. I was doing really emotionally, but yesterday and today, not so much. I don't know why, really.

Oh, to garden! I keep thinking about getting out and at least sticking some seeds in the ground that I already have--peas and lavender and a couple other things, but, then I realize I am silly, as there is two feet of snow in my backyard! Hey, but the forecast is calling for 46 degrees on Friday--there's what I need--some fresh air !!!!
