My fat baby ;)

... weighs 6kg, or 13.25lbs! He's just above the 50th percentile, but he feels like a lead weight to me!

I'm off dairy and wheat this week, and he's so much happier! I'm doing soy, I don't think he's reacting. So I'm rotating my diet, keeping it simple. He's still refluxy but not colicy. Oh, fingers crossed we've caught it!!!!!

He's beautiful and chubby. I'm interested in knowing what you eat since my son is colicky and I've abstained from milk and cheese but I feel like I should be doing more.

He is SUCH a cuttie!

My Chubba Bubba is 13# 11oz at 6 wks. lol... I think that our babies just follow each other around in weight. lol... although, with Logan being so young, he is at the 90% instead of the 50%.

Hey, if I factor in that he was born 2.5 weeks early, that makes him...in the 75th! Weehoo!

And he's started reacting again. So I'm off Soy. The last two days, it got progressively worse - colicy, wouldn't eat, puking up a storm. He got his puffy eye back yesterday, plus some little red bumps on his face. So I'm skipping soy and starting up dairy instead.

I'm still off wheat, eggs, seafood, nuts and seeds. Soledad - I eat homemade foods so I know exactly what I'm eating. I'm not being as organised as I should be (I haven't been keeping a food diary, just avoiding suspect ingredients for four days at a time, seeing if he reacts). It would be SO MUCH EASIER to avoid soy than dairy! He was good when I was off both - so it could be both. But I think soy might be a problem - it's a likely suspect, since soy beans are legumes, and have strong proteins.

~fingers crossed for a miracle~

On the fat baby subject, I have to chime in. Cayman had a 2 month check up yesterday and weighs 19 lbs 4.5 oz.!! I feel your pain on the allergens. I am off dairy, onions, peppers of any kind, soy, and garlic. I am finding it difficult, but worth it to have a happy baby. How are things going now?
